I think it is too.
It's kind of decent that he decided to do some social networking, but I'm not going to fan him on FaceBlah because you know this is going to open the door for a bunch of people to be leave a million comments on his posts like "So? Why'd you leave? Did Duncan chase you away? LOL! But seriously, when are you coming back? I went to a concert once in 2001. Maybe you remember me? I sat 12 rows back and I was the one screaming my head off all night. Teehee."
Guh.
If I follow him at all, it will probably be on twitter. And not until after I see if he's going to use it for good or evil.

Peter will always use his powers for good, and not evil. He's one of the good guys.
I'm following him, but I hope I'm not going all fangirl. Well, except for my happy fan dance when I first got there.

No, the others aren't bad guys. Unless Jody is. Maybe that's why he never talks, too busy planning his world domination?

Hmmm..... I'm a bit confused. Juan said more than once that he's been writing with Peter, yet Peter says
I'm not sure what to make of it. I don't think either of them are lying. Perhaps Peter doesn't think he did enough to be called "writing" the songs? I dunno. I'm going to have to ask Juan the next time I see him online.
But then he also said he didn't retire
So... if he hasn't been doing the newsboys stuff, I wonder who he IS in the studio with/for?

*coughSoloAlbumcough*
I have also considered the possibility of a CCM super band. I mean, he has been hanging around with folks from Delirious. But...then again...it's hard to get more super than the classic newsboys line-up, so why walk away from that? *ponders*
Yeah, Imma have to say solo album.

Man oh man oh man oh man!!!!
As much as I'd like to believe that, I'm thinking it may be for someone else in the inPop stable. But you're right, he's been hanging with Stu G and Max Hsu... In a studio with a boxing ring....
Inquiring minds want to know....

i saw on his twitter he replied to a guy saying that he was working on some new stuff
i'm not sure what he's working on. im hoping it's a solo album, or maybe acoustic versions of NB songs.
another thing, WHEN IN THE WORLD ARE THEY GOING TO RELEASE A CHRISTMAS ALBUM??!?!?!?! they've been around for 25 years, and never released a single Christmas song. i think it's about time for one

A lot of people (With the exception of the big wigs at Sparrow) considered "Adoration" to be a Christmas song.
I think I remember one of my friends saying that one of the band members hates the idea of doing a Christmas album. I can't remeber which one (Peter? Jeff?) at the moment. But don't quote me on that. I never did find the interview. So who knows. Maybe they just aren't feeling very Christmas-y.

Well, Adoration is a Christmas song.
I was talking about this to an atheist friend of mine, his reply "All their music is Christmas music, isn't it?" Which, yeah. He has a point. I told it to Duncan and he thought it was great!

Pete posted a pic of him the other day, with studio-y stuff in the background. I just assumed it was for Born Again. But apparently not. I'm going to have to do some digging....

Well, the nb and Superchic[k]
do
go back and forth a lot from what I understand, so if it was just a picture of Peter and Max hanging out at Burger King or whatever I probably wouldn't think anything of it. But a studio? Maybe Peter was at the newsboys' studio where Max was helping, but I don't know if Peter would, if you know what I mean. From the way I understood it, he couldn't wait to get out of that band, so why would he just go and hang out at the studio for no apparent reason? Makes me think that there's something more to it...Maybe Max is helping with the programming on a solo album. I dunno.
I'm probably just over-analyzing. But yeah, that's interesting. *And the wheels turn*

Have you been following his twit pics? The pic with Max could have been the nb studio. The one with the boxing ring isn't. Dunno what to make of it all.
I'm voting for a solo album too. Not that Pete's counting votes or anything....

Actually, I haven't. But after you said that I went and did a search. Judging by the drumheads on the walls, I'm going to guess this was taken at Peter's house. I remember one of Habibi's stories where he was at Peter's studio and taking pictures. I went to the nb site to see if I could find any of those pictures, but the Habibi Rock tab isn't there anymore. *shrugs*
Max has some awesome glasses.

Mystery solved... I finally caught up with Juan. They did write a song together, but it didn't make the cut of the album. Man, I hate thinking of all the good, but not quite good enough, songs languishing out there.
But Juan doesn't know why Pete's been in the studio, or with who.

hmmm, maybe pete's a double secret agent...or maybe he is just having fun making some tunes....both possibilities are possible...

So what do you think it means? I mean, we know Stu G was in town. Perhaps they're recording for him? But why wouldn't he say that? It makes my head hurt.
